An inviting glow.
/Much further along with the holiday painting. I'm really enjoying creating the winter mountain village all aglow with lights.
There's just something about the charm of a hillside town in winter, it's so inviting to me.
Getting in the Holiday Spirit
/Creation of my Christmas painting is underway. Here's part of the outline for it. While it may appear to be somewhat religious from this snippet, that's not the concept I came up with for the piece. Though compared to my other Christmas themed works I'll say this would be the most 'religious' and probably the closest I'll ever get.
And, yes, once I'm done I'll be making holiday cards of it. That's why I'm hoping to get it done this week.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...no it's not...but...
/I know, it feels too early to be thinking about Christmas...but in order to start and finish a painting, get cards printed, and make them available for people to order and send out before the big day...well, you gotta start before the leaves fall off the trees.

I've added five new greeting cards, and just in time for Valentine's Day it turns out. Check out the whole selection. Also there are a few cards that I only have a handful left and since I need the room they are on clearance for $2 each.
