New Shipping Options for International Orders

Look for two shipping options at check out

ATTENTION CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE U.S.:

I now have 2 shipping options for orders going outside the USA. This will allow you the customer the option to have your order insured regardless of size, weight or value.

Standard - This option is basically the same default shipping method you are familiar with at Breyette.com. Smaller orders (by weight, size, and value) are shipped economically, it is less expensive but it is a little bit slower and does not have insurance coverage if lost or damaged. Larger orders are automatically upgraded to the faster and insured method used when choosing the Prime option - see below.

Prime - This option allows you to have your order shipped with insurance regardless if it qualifies as a ‘small order’.

At a certain size order, the shipping options, Standard and Prime, will cost the same. It does not matter which you choose, the order will be shipped by the same faster method and include insurance.

Why the new option?
While most international orders arrive without issue, once in a while the courier service fails us, they lose or damage packages. Even though it’s out of my hands and I have no control over what happens while a package is in transit, I’m the one that has to replace the items and pay to have it shipped out again. That’s probably not a big deal for companies like Amazon, but as a self employed artist, that can nearly wipe out any profit I earned from that order.

The Prime option gives you the choice on smaller orders to add the piece of mind of insurance while it’s in the hands of the delivery service. The Standard option remains as a less expensive alternative, but I don’t guarantee full refunds or replacements due to the failure of the delivery service, I can only work with you on a case by case basis to resolve shipping issues.
