Recently I’ve been doing some minimalist black and white pieces, celebrations of the male physique with no backgrounds or other elements. It has been helpful in shaking up my creativity and keeping me artistically engaged, and allows to me ‘regroup’ for pieces like this that explore a visual as well as literal background and emotional story.
