“It could be a bath, but it could also be a comfy chair and a good book, or driving your car listening to classical music. It’s your private place, you alone with your uncluttered mind, a place to dream and to drift in your sea of tranquility.”
There are always little things I get in my head that get me excited about doing a painting, here it was the turquoise colored water and it being shallow. Also, while I do like rendering suds, I wanted to do flat still water, to echo the idea of calm serenity.
