“Sometimes our differences may seem like a gulf between us, but we are connected by common ground, and we can learn so much from each other and become stronger together.”
The organic nature of creating art pieces is often an interesting journey. While a jotted down note for an idea: “snorkeling” is basic, it evolves to include the idea of teaching, of the characters being mentor and student. Then outside forces, such as the bizarre jingoistic actions of the felon in the White House made the meaning and title of this piece crystal clear to me.
