“Sounds of scratching, snickering and scurrying stir you from sleep. Is it just neighborhood kids trying to keep the Hallowe’en shenanigans going late in to the night? Reach for the light. Power is out. More peculiar noises - that definitely came from downstairs! Grab the LED latern...”
All along the idea was for a frightened figure coming down the stairs to checkout the going's on. I played around with several ideas of what spooky/terrifying monster might be lurking. But in the end I was in a playful mood so I used the inspiration of a childhood movie classic "Gremilns" for my mischievous creatures.
Oh...and yes I did pose myself for the figure (the frightened one..not the furry ones).
