“Every hot afternoon, he takes a break from working on the summer cottage. He swaggers across the stream of vacation traffic to the townýs ice cream shop. He doesn’t quite know which flavor he’ll get, but he knows he will be greeted by a big grin from the young guy behind the counter. And for a few moments, they each get to indulge in A Summer Treat.”
With the last few days being so hot and muggy, there's really no need to explain my inspiration for this piece. I'm just glad I got to work on it indoors with the ac running.
