“Hard to believe Cory’s (nearly) private oasis was a hive of activity just a few decades ago. Where he now swims naked in a 100 feet deep pool of clear cool water on a hot summer day, was once a dusty pit filled with sweaty workman and machines tearing into a ridge of marble.”
This area where I now live was once renowned for it's marble quarries. I was surprised just how close I was to an abandoned one which is now among Vermont's (not quite secret) collection of nude swimming holes. With a little help from Google Earth I found it, a couple months ago, off a dirt road almost in my back yard. And sure enough there was one rather attractive nude college age guy enjoying what nature had reclaimed. Thus from the quarry comes "Cory".
