"Into the Blue" Reception

Friday was the opening reception for my "Into the Blue" show at Lyman-Eyer Gallery.  Thanks to everyone who came out.  It was so great to meet you all. Also it was great to share the gallery show with Gregory Little and his wonderful work. Thanks to Melissa and Maxwell from the gallery who did a terrific job in hanging and hosting the event in the absence of Jim Lyman. Also want to say thank you to Jim for the invitation and doing all he can while he continues to recover.  You were there in spirit! The show runs until July 23, so if you make it to Provincetown I hope you'll stop by!

On the Drawing Board: 'Selfie' Indulgent?

My friend Mark was working on my website, going through all my artwork when he noticed that it had been ten years since I released "Naked".  So he suggested that on the tenth anniversary of my last full frontal self portrait, I should do another 'selfie' portrait. Here's the preliminary drawing and the pic I used. This piece will be released soon and will be in my show at Provincetown Lyman Eyer Gallery July 11-23.

New Release - Prince of Tides

My latest work, Prince of Tides, was inspired by a hike that I and countless others take each summer, almost like a pilgrimage, to Herring Cove Beach in Provincetown, MA

The original is available for immediate purchase, but as part of my upcoming show, it will remain with the Lyman-Eyer Gallery through July 23rd.

Into the Blue

Gallery Reception in 11 Days! I'll be showing my latest works in a two artist exhibit at Lyman-Eyer Gallery in Provincetown, MA. The opening reception is July 11th 7-9 PM. I've dubbed this collection Into the Blue and it will be on display until July 23rd.

I look forward to meeting old and new friends! Come stop by if you can, and also check out the paintings of Gregory Little who is the artist displaying with me.

On the Drawing Board: Making the trek

Last September when the Lyman-Eyer Gallery invited me to do a show this Summer, this was the first piece I did.  I knew I'd need to have quite a few works for the show so rather than release them all as I finished them I set some aside to release closer to the show.  This one in particular because it's about an experience very familiar to most the gay men who visit Ptown in the Summer.
