“Colors carry emotions and concepts. Blue is serenity and calm, but is seem to also represent hope, new horizons and rejuvenation perhaps due to its association with the sky and bodies of water. Often during times of angst or distress it’s important to get into the blue.”
Inspiration for the piece came from Iceland’s geothermal pools, such as The Blue Lagoon and Mývatn. Iceland is one of my favorite places, to which I hope to return to soon (I am even learning the language!). These places heal the soul & mind and inspire you with the wonder and beauty of this world.
